The Story of The Snowman Builders

The Story of The Snowman Builders

The woodland had fallen into a hush as the first snow blanketed the earth in soft white. The trees shimmered under the morning sun, their branches dusted with glittering frost. Bear and Fox wandered through the quiet grove, their breath puffing like little clouds in the crisp air.

“Let’s build a snowman!” said Fox, her eyes bright with excitement. Bear grinned and nodded. Together, they began to roll great snowballs, one for the base, one for the middle, and one just right for the head. Their laughter echoed through the trees.

Soon Pine Marten came bounding over, leaving a trail of pawprints behind her. “What are you two up to?” she asked, tail flicking with curiosity.

“We’re building a snowman!” said Fox.

“Oh, how wonderful! I’ll fetch some things to help.” Pine Marten scurried off and soon returned with a bundle of acorns for buttons and a bright orange carrot for the snowman’s nose.

Mouse popped out from beneath a snowy log, whiskers twitching. “Can I help too?” he squeaked.

“Of course!” said Bear.

Mouse gathered tiny twigs for the snowman’s arms, arranging them just so. When they were done, Bear and Fox wrapped a red woven scarf around their snowy friend’s neck.

At that very moment, a cardinal fluttered down from the trees, landing atop the snowman’s hat. It tilted its head and chirped approvingly, as if to say, well done, friends.

The woodland sparkled with laughter and warmth, despite the chill in the air. Their snowman stood tall and proud: a symbol of friendship, winter joy, and the quiet magic that lives within the forest when friends come together to build something wonderful.
